Zack Ellafy was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. After high school Zack helped at a comic store for over two years and when that ended, Zack went into business owning and operating a comic book store for over ten years. In high school, Zack was a part of the newspaper and journalism classes and wrote many articles for the paper dealing with entertainment (and as much sci fi and superhero fantasy he could sneak in). Zack left the comic book business to focus and pursue his dream of writing awesome stories through comics, novels, and other media. Zack currently has written one novel and is working on his second; he also has a comic book project written and is in the stages of securing an artist.
Zack is an avid sports fan. When he is not reading, writing, or researching, he can be found cheering on his Denver Broncos or other local Colorado sports teams while also watching a ton of international sports (mostly soccer). He lives in Denver, Colorado with his amazing wife Erica, their three dogs Pepper, Samwise, and Jorah, and their cat, Ella.
